Interview With Multi-Talented Artist Finding Chase

What’s the message you’d like to convey with “Butterflies,” your latest single?

Try to find the good in everything that happens to you. Don’t allow one negative event to distort your perspective about something beautiful. And of course, never stop chasing the things in life that give you butterflies.

What drove you to choose a music career?

I’ve always known this is what I’m supposed to do. Despite my efforts to walk away from it over the years, it always brings me back around. The madness of all the sounds and song ideas that run through my head on a daily basis is plenty of affirmation for me.

What is your most memorable moment as an artist?

I like to spend my time working on music in the studio. My favorite moments thus far reside in those long studio sessions with John Rogliano (fellow audio engineer and friend).

How would you define your style/genre?

Haha, it depends on the day and the song but typically either rock, rap, acoustic, EDM, or a fusion. I like to create songs that express moods and certain genres are geared to express a vibe or mood better (how many sad EDM songs or happy metal songs do you know?).

What is your favorite song of the moment?

Favorite song at the moment? Sheesh, it’s impossible to pick just one. I’ll go with what I’m vibing to at the time I wrote this: Falling (Whethan Redo) by Opia and Whethan.

Are there any near future releases planned?

Yes! Count on catching these 2 soon.

Can’t Stop releases on August 31st. It’s a party rock/punk song full of tantalizing lyrics and energetic instrumentation. Don’t sleep on this one.

Do What I Want releases in mid to late September. It’s a mash up of ambient rap, tasteful acoustic guitar, and contemporary rap vocals. It’s a whole mood.

Thank You!
