Toni Braxton is setting the record straight about her relationship with Dennis Rodman.
On Sunday night, ESPN aired the third installment its Michael Jordan docuseries “The Last Dance,” which highlighted Rodman’s relationship with famous women, including Madonna, Carmen Electra, Vivica Fox, and Toni Braxton.
After the broadcast, a series photos Braxton, 52, and the former Chicago Bulls star, 58, resurfaced on social media, further fueling the speculation. The provocative photos showed the two cozied up at the 1996 MTV Video Music Awards. But Braxton was quick to shut down the romance rumors.

“IEven though @dennisrodman was kinda hot in the 90s, I never dated Dennis Rodman. We were at the VMAs,” she tweeted before adding the hashtag #TheLastDance.

While Braxton was quick to deny a romance with Rodman, she did recently open up about her relationship with Birdman. The Grammy-winning songstress and Cash Money mogul, who got engaged in 2018 after a nearly two-decade friendship, are planning to get married this year.
“We have been going back and forth on wedding dates,” Braxton told the “Rick and Sasha” morning show. “We’ve been trying to figure it out, but we are definitely gonna do it this year.”
