Lil Uzi Vert and Playboi Carti have no shortage lyrics about copping jewelry and spending big, but now they're on the other side things—or, at least, they were. Temporarily.
Recently, the two rappers, who appeared in Carti's video for "Lookin" the other day, were spotted selling jewelry at a store. From what we can see in the clips, the two acclimate themselves with their new job pretty well.
In the clips, we see Uzi carefully examining watches and necklaces as he makes conversation with potential customers. When he's not doing that, he's working with a calculator as he helps prospective jewelry-coppers figure out what they want, and what it would cost. For his part, Carti mostly sits back and takes in the action, laughing intermittently throughout their time in the store.
Uzi and Carti have a lot recent history together. Uzi appeared on both "Woke Up Like This" and "Lookin," two cuts from Carti's eponymous debut mixtape released last spring. They were also set to go on tour together this past fall, but Uzi backed out, citing the need to "focus" as the reason.
Uzi and Carti have also teased a joint project, but nothing has come it thus far. Never say never, though.
