The pioneers fusing jazz, Hip Hop, and home genres, Jungle Brothers, have a brand new venture within the works — and that’s no secret. Group member Mike Gee first detailed it in an interview this previous August.
“We’ve mainly received a complete album within the can,” he famous. “We’re making an attempt to shine it f proper now.”
It seems we could now have a greater concept the what and when, as member/producer DJ Sammy B tells HipHopDX the venture (which is definitely a mixtape titled Bushcamp The Mixtape) is 21 years within the making.
“It began in 1997 in the course of the making Uncooked Deluxe … we have been within the studio and created a promo for The Pink Alert Present known as ‘This Is For The Girls.’” As Sammy explains, it simply grew to become back-burner after that. “I needed to end it earlier than leaving right here.”
On the subject of timeline for the untitled venture, Sammy merely says “No set date. I’m not dashing it … I] need it to be proper. Getting publishing and the whole lot proper.”
