Yung Bans’ 2016 Murder Charge Reportedly Dropped

Atlanta, GA – Yung Bans has apparently beat his 2016 murder charge. On Monday night (December 2), Bans told his Twitter followers he was finally f house arrest and ready to get back to business.

“Just got f house arrest and beat my case after 4 years,” he wrote. “I think it’s time to get up a tour where y’all want me to come?”

Bans was arrested for felony murder and burglary in the first degree in February 2016 but denied the charges. After some time inside a juvenile detention center, he was sentenced to house arrest.

According to XXL, Bans pleaded guilty to burglary in the first degree and received a 10-year probation sentence as a result. The felony murder charge was dropped.

Bans was only 16 years old at the time the incident. Prosecutors explained Bans was in a getaway car with Maxx Pritchett when Mark Spencer and Lil’ Che Stafford broke into Jose Greer’s Atlanta apartment.

Out fear, Greer jumped f his balcony and ultimately died his injuries. Spencer and Stafford were convicted murder in October 2018 and received life sentences.

The Atlanta-bred rapper released his debut album, Misunderstood, in July.
