Cardi B, Chance the Rapper, and Tip “T.I.” Harris are searching for the next hip-hop sensation.
Netflix has announced a premiere date and dropped the first trailer for its highly-anticipated hip-hop competition series “Rhythm + Flow.”
Starting Oct. 9, the rappers will launch a multi-city search for the best, undiscovered talent from Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York City. The 10 hour-long episodes will roll out over the course three weeks starting with the audition process. Contestants will then face f during the rap battles and cyphers, concluding with cover samples, collaborations, and the finale on Oct. 23.
“This is hip-hop’s first legit first TV competition…We’re about to make music history,” says Chance in the 50-second clip, while Cardi adds, “It’s gonna be litty like a fucking titty.”
