Troy Ave Gets Revenge on His Haters in ''Downfall'' Video

It's no secret that Troy Ave has collected his fair share haters over his career, but he's not going to let them win the war against him. The Brooklyn rapper releases a music video for his "Downfall" record, which features him getting revenge on a hater.

The visuals start f with a guy calling up his girlfriend on FaceTime, who happens to be listening to a Troy Ave song during the conversation. Although she claims that he introduced her to the song from the New York native, he tells her to stop listening to the record. The song then kicks f with her beau creating a voodoo doll Ave, putting a curse on the rapper who can feel anything that happens to the item in real life.

While Troy finds himself in some more dangerous situations due to the hater's undercover torment, the "2 Legit 2 Quit" spitter has the last laugh after being invited into the original girl's bedroom for some intimate action.

Things have been a bit rocky on a legal and personal level for Troy Ave, who has been criticized for his role in the 2016 Irving Plaza shooting that left his bodyguard, Ronald "Banga" McPhatter, dead and the rapper injured. After Taxstone was indicted for second-degree murder for the killing Banga last July, Ave has claimed that he would testify against Taxstone in the case, which led to people calling him a snitch.
