A rundown the most coveted kicks releasing this month.
Nike and Jordan Brand have a jam-packed slate sneaker releases on tap for the month May, including several different Air Jordan 1s, such as Travis Scott‘s “Cactus Jack” collab and a pair color-shifting Nike SB joints.
In addition to all the 1s, sneakerheads can look forward to the “Houston Oilers” Nike LeBron 3, “Glow” Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 and the wildly popular Nike React Element 55 which will be available for customization Nike By You.
Oh yeah, and the iconic “Bred” Air Jordan 4 will also be returning.

The Nike LeBron 3 resurgence will continue today, May 1, as Nike has plans to release the exclusive “Houston Oilers” colorway that originally surfaced in 2006.
At the time, the special edition sneakers were only given to “Family & Friends” in celebration the ’06 NBA All Star Game taking place in H-Town, but fans will now have an opportunity to get their hands on a pair without breaking the bank.

The popular Nike React Element 55 will soon be available for customization Nike’s “Nike By You,” formerly known as NikeiD.
The React Element 55 has already released in a number colorful designs since it burst onto the scene in 2018 – and there are even more in the works – but fans will be able to choose their very own color schemes and materials, including the new breathable woven mesh upper.
Nike brings the React Element 55 to the Nike By You program, available for customization with experimental materials and trims beginning next Thursday, May 2.

Originally billed as the “Panda” Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG, Jordan Brand has ficially revealed the “Twist” Air Jordan 1 as part the 2019 Summer Women’s Collection. As you’d expect from a sneaker bearing the “Panda” moniker, the kicks are decked out in a clean white and black colorway, equipped with faux pony hair detailing.
Because the kicks are being billed as a women’s release, it’s worth noting that a women’s size 12 translates to a men’s size 10.5.

If there’s one release date to remember this month, it’s May 4.
The iconic “Bred” Air Jordan 4 will be returning to retailers in OG form, complete with the grey “Nike Air” branding on the heel tab. The best part? They’ll be available at nearly every sneaker retailer under the sun, so you should have no problem securing a pair at retail price.

If you missed out the first/second time around, or are looking to strike gold twice, the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 collab will be available again on May 11 SNKRS, SNEAKRS and at a group retailers across the globe.
The “Cactus Jack” Air Jordan 1 is built on a white and brown colorway, highlighted by a black, backwards Nike swoosh. Additionally, the limited edition 1s come equipped with a hidden stash compartment around the ankle collar and multiple sets laces. The kicks will release alongside a matching range apparel

Jordan Brand has released a handful highly coveted women’s Air Jordans over the last few months – many which had grown men trying to squeeze their feet into the biggest women’s size. This “Midnight Black” Air Jordan 12, releasing in women’s sizes, will certainly fall into that category.
The black leather 12s feature faux reptile materials along with rose gold accents on the upper eyelets, mudguard tags, Jumpman logos and lettering down the heel. The kicks are grounded by a white rubber outsole, making for one the cleanest non-OG Air Jordan 12 colorways in recent memory.

Jordan Brand’s has several different Air Jordan 11 Lows in the works, including the “Pink Snakeskin” rendition that is set to drop on May 7, as well as this “Light Bone” colorway.
The low-tops 11s feature the increasingly popular “Light Bone” hue on the upper, accompanied by snakeskin detailing in place the traditional patent leather. Additional details include a black inner lining and a black Jumpman on the heel, along with black, white and red detailing across the strip on the tongue.

The Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Glow” is built on an eye-catching greenish-yellow neon primeknit with the familiar translucent stripe across the upper. In addition to men’s sizes, it is believed the glow-in-the-dark Yeezys will also be available for kid’s and infants.

Nike SB and Jordan Brand will be closing out the month with two special edition Air Jordan 1 Retro High OGs, including this Lakers/Bulls colorway.
The high-top kicks come dressed in a purple and gold colorway supported by a white leather upper. However, when they’re worn down the kicks reveal a Chicago Bulls-inspired colorway underneath.

The second color-changing Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 releasing on May 25 is the “Light Bone” rendition – which nods to NYC and Paris. Like the aforementioned LA/Chicago version, there’s a hidden layer under the NYC-inspired upper.
