The month June was absolutely loaded with highly coveted sneaker releases, ranging from a plethora Adidas Yeezys to a handful all-new Air Jordans. The hits will keep on coming in July, as brands across the board bring the heat in the first full month Summertime drops.

Among the sneakers on tap for July are two signature sneaker debuts, including Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Nike Zoom Freak 1 and Donovan Mitchell’s Adidas D.O.N Issue #1. There are also a few USA-themed colorways on deck for the 4th July, as well as multiple Air Jordans and yet another Yeezy Boost 350 V2.

The first signature sneaker Utah Jazz superstar Donovan Mitchell – the Adidas D.O.N Issue #1 – will be available exclusively Adidas on July 1 for the consumer-friendly retail price $100. The kicks will release at Adidas retailers globally on July 5.

The D.O.N (Determination Over Negativity) Issue #1 will debut in a Spider-Man themed colorway that nods to Mitchell’s “Spida” nickname and his love for comics, hence the “Issue #1” moniker. The kicks come equipped with a red and blue mesh construction and Adidas’ Bounce cushioning beneath the silhouette, as well as Mitchell’s logo on the tongue along with white, web-like accents on the three stripes branding and lace cage.

“Determination Over Negativity is a belief that anything is possible no matter who you are or where you come from,” said Mitchell. “I wanted this sneaker to be a symbol that – for the kid who believes they can do anything.”

Coming on the heels the “Albino Snakeskin” Foams that we unboxed last week, comes an all-new patriotic Nike Air Foamposite One just in time for the 4th July BBQs.

The Foams, releasing in women’s sizes, are the mismatched variety, with the left shoe split in half between white and red, while the right shoe opts for a white and blue design. Each sneaker comes equipped with two sets red and blue pull tabs, as well as matching Penny logos on the tongue and heel. White laces, dijointed Nike swooshes on the forefoot, and a translucent outsole rounds out the look.

Nike’s latest sneaker silhouette – the Air Max 270 React – will make its retail debut on July 3. The kicks comobine Nike’s first lifestyle Air unit, the 270, with the brand’s stest, smoothest and most resilient foam, Nike React, to form a new articulation Air Max.

According to Nike Senior Sportswear Design Director Dylan Raasch, “Instead no-sew or stitched on panels, the Air Max 270 React is built with a bar tack technique inspired by the Element React 87. This creates the floating eye stay aesthetic.”

Several colorways will be available on July 3, including the colorful “Bauhaus” iteration.

Jordan Brand will be releasing multiple Air Jordans in honor  the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup, including a white “FIBA” Air Jordan 12 (rumored for August) and this red Air Jordan 4 SE.

The FIBA Air Jordan 4s come equipped with a red leather upper with obsidian detailing appearing on the mudguard and inner lining, as well as the lacing system. Additional details include a tag that reads “For The Love Of The Game on the inside the tongue, and symbols from various flags in place the traditional mesh portions the AJ4.

Giannis Antetokounmpo’s first Nike signature sneaker – the Nike Zoom Freak 1 – is slated to release in a classic black and white colorway on July 10.

The kicks are obviously highlighted by the humongous Nike swoosh on the lateral side, but the kicks come equipped with some cool, subtle details, including a “34” on the heel that is inspired by the Greek flag. Additionally, the translucent outsole is reportedly designed in a rose petal pattern as a further nod to Giannis’ Greek roots as well as his late father. According to Sneaker News, the kicks come equipped with a double-stacked heel Zoom Air unit for responsive cushioning.

Release Date: July 12

The women’s Air Jordan 8 “White Aqua” first debuted in 2007, featuring a “white, varsity red-bright concord-aqua” color scheme. The kicks are now set to return on July 12 – and judging from the images that have surfaced thus far, the 2019 rendition will come equipped with reflective 3M detailing around the heel.

The “Lundmark” Yeezy Boost 350 V2s consists  a combination grey and cream, with the familiar translucent stripe streaks its way across the lateral side panel. You’ll also notice the heel tab, which has been utilized on most other Yeezy Boost 350 V2s, is absent here.

The kicks, releasing in sizes for the whole family, will be available exclusively in North and Latin America. A more limited, reflective version is expected to launch a few days prior on July 11.

The all-new “Space Jam” Air Jordan 11 Low IE will reportedly release on July 13, just as filming on the LeBron-led Space Jam 2 gets underway. The kicks will reportedly retail for $170, and it is believed they’ll be widely available at all major retailers.

As seen in the latest batch images posted by sneaker source @Zsneakerheadz, the upcoming Jordan 11 Low IE consists a black, white and concord colorway, exactly like the beloved “Space Jam” Air Jordan 11. In classic Air Jordan 11 fashion, the kicks also come equipped with a glossy, black patent leather overlay.

Following the initial release the “Spider-Man” Adidas D.O.N Issue #1, Adidas has announced plans to release several other Spiderman-inspired colorways including this “Symbiote Spider-Man” rendition.

The kicks come equipped with a black leather upper, highlighted by splashes shock pink, white and silver throughout the low-top silhouette.

Jordan Brand still has plans to release a special edition “Lakers” Air Jordan 13 this Summer. Judging from the early images, the kicks will come dressed in a predominately white, tumbled leather upper equipped with purple detailing and a black outsole beneath it all.

Jordan Brand has released several team-specific Air Jordans over the years, including those MJ’s many rivals, but the purple and gold has never before been applied to the Air Jordan 13.
