Tiffany Haddish Says Drake Bailed on Date

Tiffany Haddish reveals that she was supposed to go out on a dinner date with Drake, but he stood her up.

During a conversation with her “Girls Trip” co-star Jada Pinkett-Smith for her Facebook Watch series “Red Table Talk,” Haddish revealed that she is on the market. “I would like to date,” Haddish said. “I really don’t have a lot time for it, but when somebody asks me out on a date that I’m interested in and like hanging out with, I will clear the schedule. I will make some time.”

One those men was Drake. Haddish, who appeared in Drake’s “Nice for What” video, swapped texts with the 6 God about the video and eventually he proposed a date. “He was like, ‘Let me take you to dinner,’” she recalled.

She got a waxing appointment and a nice dress, but Drake ended up bailing. “Then I’m like, ‘So what time are you heading out? Are you sending a car, like where we going?’” she said. “And he’s like, ‘Oh man, my bad, family emergency. I’m in Canada right now.’ And I was like, ‘OK! OK!’”

Haddish said she cleared her schedule for the rapper. “I could have made $100,000 today, but I was trying to see what that D do. But all right!”

The comedian is never one to bite her tongue. She previously made headlines after claiming that a famous actress bit Beyoncé in the face during a party.
