Mila J spreads love this season with her first Christmas EP Holiday.
The eight original tracks were recorded over the course two months with help from co-writer Sam Hook and executive producers Gaston Jeanty and O.S.A’s Tyler Jasper. Jagged Edge joins the L.A. songstress on the cozy duet “Season for Love,” while Mila brings the smoke on “California Christmas Trees.” She keeps the feel-good vibes going into the new year on the closer, “The Countdown.”
“Since I was a little girl, it was always a passion mine to put together a holiday project,” says Mila, whose grew up listening to Christmas tunes from Mariah Carey, TLC, and Frank Sinatra. “In a season giving, I look forward to being able to share just a feel-good EP leading into the new year.”
The holidays are a special time for the Chilombo family. “We go shopping last minute and always end up staying up all Christmas Eve wrapping presents,” recalls Mila. “And lounge around all day in matching Christmas pajamas.”
