Steve Carell Returns To TV Alongside "The Office" Co-Creator With "Space Force"

The new comedy series is set to debut May 29th.

This week, Netflix has finally shared the ficial trailer their original comedy series Space Force starring Steve Carell and co-created by Greg Daniels, creator The Office. The show is a satirical take on the United States Space Force, a new division the U.S. armed forces announced by the Trump administration back in 2018.

The streaming service continues on its hot streak original series. Carell stars as General Naird, who is the head the space division the Armed Forces, and is tasked with developing the space force despite not being qualified to do so. “It was always my dream to start something from the ground up,” Carell says in the trailer. “But space is hard.”

He can also be heard hilariously saying in the trailer, “We’re gonna Apollo 13 the s*** out this.”

The series co-stars Lisa Kudrox, John Malkovich, Ben Schwartz, Noah Emmerich, and comedian Fred Willard, who sadly passed away last Friday at 86 years old, before the debut the series.

Check out the trailer below. The series is set to debut on May 29th.

Netflix is on a roll, and just recently debuted the new trailer for the Spike Lee-directed film ‘Da 5 Bloods’ this past week.
