Skillz continues his annual tradition recapping the year with the release “Rap Up 2019.” The veteran MC’s latest summary features him rapping about everything from R. Kelly’s demise and Jussie Smollett’s drama to the success Megan Thee Stallion, Lizzo, DaBaby and Lil Nas X.
Since 2002, the rapper formerly known as Mad Skillz has recapped each year with his “Rap Up” series. Uncle Murda has attempted to do his own version the review-style song in recent years, but Skillz dropped a diss track to call out the Brooklyn-bred artist for biting his idea in 2018.
