Second Man Arrested In Connection To Mac Miller’s Overdose Death

Lake Havasu City, AZ – A second man has been arrested in connection to Mac Miller’s September 2018 overdose death. According to AZ Central, Lake Havasu City, Arizona resident Ryan Reavis was taken into custody on Tuesday (September 24).

Police wouldn’t explain how Reavis was connected to the late rapper. During a search the 36-year-old’s home, authorities discovered a physician’s prescription pad, prescription-only pills, drug paraphernalia, marijuana, several firearms, a personally manufactured firearm suppressor and large amounts ammunition.

Reavis is currently facing drug and gun possession charges as well as fraud charges.

The arrest comes roughly two weeks after another man, Cameron James Pettit, was arrested and charged in connection to Miller’s death. Pettit stands accused  selling Miller counterfeit oxycodone pills laced with the powerful pain killer fentanyl.

As explained in the 42-page criminal complaint filed in the Central District California, text messages between Miller and Pettit reveal Pettit agreed to bring the Grammy Award-nominated artist oxycodone, cocaine and Xanax. Police think Miller snorted the oxycodone pills before his death.

Reavis was held on a $50,000 cash-only bond and transferred to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office where he remains in custody.
