Robert Kraft’s Lawyers In Court To Fight Release Of "Rub & Tug" Footage

Kraft’s lawyers are doing everything they can for the Patriots owner.

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft became the subject Twitter memes and more importantly, a legal case after it was revealed that he was caught on camera, allegedly soliciting prostitution. The alleged crime occurred at the Orchids Asia Day Spa in Jupiter, Florida, just days before the AFC Championship game. Kraft has since been charged with two misdemeanor counts soliciting prostitution; charges he has pleaded not guilty too.

The latest development in the case has occurred today, as his legal team is now in court trying to make sure the video Kraft in the spa doesn’t become public, according to TMZ. Earlier this week, a motion was filed to make sure the video never sees the light day, as it would hinder Kraft’s right to a fair trial.

Two weeks ago, his lawyers filed another motion to dismiss the video entirely, as they say, it was obtained illegally.

Per TMZ:

“Florida resorted to the most drastic, invasive, indiscriminate spying conceivable by law enforcement — taking continuous video recordings private massages in which customers would be stripping naked as a matter course — in order to prosecute what are at most misdemeanor fenses.”

“Law enforcement had no satisfying justification for going to such extreme, invasive lengths just to investigate run–the-mill suspicion solicitation.”

“Law enforcement peddled these falsehoods to try and manufacture a patina necessity to put cameras in the massage rooms], where none exists.”

Stay tuned for the latest updates in the case.
