Fantasia Barrino’s nephew Tyquan Washington was murdered in front a Greensboro, North Carolina apartment complex on Tuesday morning, according to various sources.
The singer posted about the story on her Instagram.
“Auntie is So Sorry Baby,” she wrote under a photo herself holding her nephews. “RIP to my Oldest Nephew Please Pray for his Mother and my Brother & his Stepdad.”
Tyquan was shot after getting into an argument in front the complex. According to TMZ the 18-year-old was shot multiple times. Paramedics transported him to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Police have arrested a 21-year-old and charged him with first-degree murder.
