Raz B Arrested for Domestic Violence

Raz B is behind bars on a domestic violence charge in Minneapolis.

The B2K singer was arrested for domestic assault by strangulation early Wednesday morning (May 1), according to TMZ. The victim was Raz’s girlfriend, who took photos her alleged injuries as evidence.

Raz B, whose real name is DeMario Thornton, is currently being held without bail at Minneapolis City Hall. B2K has a concert scheduled for Wednesday night at the Target Center in Minneapolis as part their reunion tour.

Last month, Raz B threatened to quit the group’s “Millennium Tour,” claiming he was scared for his safety. Hours later, he decided that he would remain on the tour. “I am a work in progress,” he told fans. “I appreciate the outpouring love, empathy, and understanding from my supporters. I look forward to continuing the Millennium Tour for our fans. You all deserve it!”

It’s unclear how this will affect the tour. The “Millennium Tour,” B2K’s first tour in more than a decade, has 10 more stops left and is scheduled to wrap May 26 in Las Vegas.
