Nicki Minaj Facing $43K Lawsuit After Allegedly Telling Stylist “Girl, Goodbye”

A stylist is reportedly suing Nicki Minaj for more than $43,000 after allegedly not getting paid for about a month’s worth work in 2017.

Cristina Acevedo claims Nicki didn’t “pay even one penny” despite hiring the stylist for a rate $1,500 per day, according to documents obtained by The Blast.

Acevedo says she worked for more than 10 hours daily over the course 24 days while the Black Barbie journeyed around the country in 2017. But at the end their travels, Nicki allegedly refused to pay the stylist what she owed.

In the aftermath, Acevedo says she continued to pursue her payment from the multi-platinum selling artist to no avail. She claims to have received an email from Nicki that read “No one is paying you 36 thousand dollars.”

“Send an email with some sense or don’t send any others,” Nicki allegedly wrote. “This isn’t your get rich quick scheme … Girl, goodbye.”

In response, Acevedo filed a lawsuit against Nicki and her companies Pink Friday Productions and Pink Personality, Inc. in an attempt to get the money.

The stylist is suing Nicki for $43,200 plus damages.
