After taking a social media sabbatical, Nicki Minaj makes her long-awaited return with her new single “MEGATRON,” which arrives just in time for summer.
Over the upbeat island bop, produced by Pop Wansel and Nova Wav, the rap queen takes a shot and turns up the playful vibes. “They call me MEGATRON / Just did a telethon,” raps Nicki before addressing the criticism surrounding her boyfriend Kenneth Petty. “He just came out prison / Bitches be talking shit, but they ain’t got a pot to piss in.”
She also fers her man some explicit instructions: “If you eatin’ it, do it precisely / ‘Cause I’m a millionaire / This pussy pricey.”
The colorful companion video, directed by Mike Ho, takes place in a jungle setting and co-stars Barbie and her Ken. The couple shows f their chemistry in the steamy pool scenes, while Nicki sets her lime green Lamborghini on fire at the end.
In addition to “MEGATRON,” Nicki recently collaborated with Trina (“BAPS”) and Chris Brown (“Wobble Up”).
On Friday, she will host a new episode Queen Radio starting at 2 p.m. PST on Apple Music.
