New York rapper Nas is all about paying homage to the hip-hop greats. The rap veteran went to social media to salute music industry royalty Slick Rick.
Nasty Nas went to Instagram last night (June 16) with an epic shot Rick the Ruler and referenced his standout NASIR song “Cops Shot The Kid” – which features a sample from Slick’s “Children’s Story.”
This week, Nas joked about forcing fans to impatiently await his latest solo effort since 2012’s Life Is Good.
On Friday, high-prile comedian Chris Rock hilariously trolled Nas about making fans wait for his LP.
A few hours prior, G.O.O.D. Music affiliate Mike Dean promised fans would soon receive Nas’ LP.
