"Mortal Kombat 11" Reps New & Nostalgia With Help From Vince Staples & Ice Cube

Outworld – NetherRealm Studios’ highly anticipated Mortal Kombat 11 has been revving up the fan fury ahead its April 23 release date.

And they haven’t been shy about using Hip Hop to boost the glorious guts and gore.

The first ficial trailer sported an original 21 Savage record while the ficial story trailer featured an underground rap banger from T-Moe and Clearside.

For the latest piece promotion, the upcoming game’s time plotline gives the spotlight to the Old Skool vs. New Skool trailer. For the OG’s, Ice Cube and Das EFX’s 1993 classic cut “Check Yo Self” provides the soundtrack as a young Liu Kang, Kung Lao and Jax face f against their remnant selves.

However, when the Kung-Fu Twins encounter series newcomer Geras (whose powers give new strength to the term “immortal”), Vince Staples’ new-ish West Coast staple “Blue Suede” takes center speaker.

The aforementioned characters will join Sonya Blade (voiced by current WWE star Ronda Rousey), Scorpion, Raiden, Sub-Zero, Skarlet, Baraka, Kano, D’Vorah, Kabal, Jade, Johnny and Cassie Cage, Erron Black, Jacqui Briggs, Kotal Kahn and Noob Saibot in the latest round Kombat.
