Lil Wayne brings us a blast from his past rock days in a new collaboration, “I Will Not Break,” with Kevin Rudolf. While the two artists have teamed up on other songs in the past ten years, their 2008 hit “Let It Rock,” f Rudolf’s In The City album, reached No.5 on Billboard Hot 100 and was certified triple platinum.
Besides their f-and-on collaborations, Rudolph has stayed pretty quiet. This new single marks the rebirth his music career and possibly some future opportunities for rocker-Wayne.
“I Will Not Break” picks up where the duo left f, with the same genre-blending energy and complementary styles their last hit. The collab is the first many new songs for Rudolph, who plans to release an album next year.
“Whenever I do something with Wayne it just feels, like, destined. There’s just a chemistry,” he told Billboard.
