Are Usher & Lil Nas X working on a remix?
Most recently, Lil Nas X released the ficial music video to his Billboard-charting hit-single “Old Town Road.” While the teasers to the video fered fan much comedic relief, the actual visuals were even more entertaining. Herein, Lil Nas X was accompanied by his good ol’ pal Billy Ray Cyrus as they sported cowboy hats while riding through with horses. Indeed, the video was as Country as it gets.
Relatedly considering Lil Nas X’s booming success, his affiliation with A-list celebrities all sorts is expected. For instance, the rapper performed at Cardi B’s Fashion Nova clothing line launch lately. And now, a recent photo the artist with an R&B legend has sparked a few rumors. Precisely, Usher was spotted hanging out with Lil Nas X.
The picture was shared Instagram and tied to the hilarious caption: “Confessions Town Road.” Surely, the latter would be a featuring we would like to see. Though, we do wonder how the lyrics will mesh together. Perhaps a Country remix the Usher favorite is what we need right now? Who knows. Either way, we can appreciate the industry vets spending some time with the new school. Of course, Lil Nas X is sporting a bright yellow cowboy outfit in this photo because, well, why not?
