Adam22’s would-be robber was packing a faux weapon.
On Sunday night, No Jumper podcast host Adam 22 discovered himself actually laughing within the face hazard as a would-be gunman stuffed a weapon in his face. The weird encounter appeared to escalate out nowhere, with Adam’s shocked response and nervous giggle talking volumes. Fortunately, the gunman was ultimately subdued and held till LAPD was in a position to make it to the scene. He was later recognized as David Tran, and never, opposite to widespread hypothesis, a disgruntled SoundCloud rapper.
Because it occurs, Tran was certainly pulling a quick one. The LAPD confirmed to The Fader that Tran was truly wielding a “film prop gun,” although they revealed little about his gameplan or lack there. When requested concerning the faux weapon, Adam mused that “his] associates had been trying on the gun they usually thought it was simply outdated or damaged or one thing.” As for a way he was in a position to enter, Tran apparently waited by the rear entrance and slipped in with the Postmates supply employee.
Whereas Adam does look like keen and in a position to joke concerning the expertise, it’s unclear whether or not he will probably be shifting ahead with a heightened safety crew. It’s loopy what some would possibly do for the clout. Hopefully, the podcaster is not too shaken by the ordeal, as having a gun in a single’s face (faux or not) is probably going harrowing irrespective of the place you stand.
