Kyrie Irving Rumors Claim Teams Are Becoming "More Wary" Of Signing Him

Where will Irving end up?

The NBA Free Agency is about to be a hectic place. Kyrie Irving is one the handful superstars that will be available in the Free Agency this Summer, and entire news segments have been dedicated to where analysts believe he will land. While no one knows for sure what the fate Irving will be, besides himself, the Boston Herald published a piece that claims NBA teams aren’t as interested in signing him as they once were.

“The most interesting bit information from several sources that we’ve been able to consolidate and confirm is that some teams thought to have interest in Irving as a free agent are now a great deal more wary,” reads the article. “Based on the way things played out with the Celtics this season and Irving’s role both f the court all year and on it in the playf loss to Milwaukee, certain clubs are concerned about putting too many eggs in his basket right away.” While Irving is still one the best Point Guards in the NBA, teams are reportedly more concerned with finding another superstar and using Irving as a complimentary piece.

“Two teams for certain are telling people they will only go after him if they land another marquee free agent and that player says he wants Irving,” continues the article. “In each these cases, the initial target is different.” Wherever Irving ends up, the general consensus at the moment is that he will be leaving Boston. Only time will tell.
