Kodak Black’s Lawyer Blasts Police For Allegedly Sharing Photo Of Rapper In Custody


Kodak Black’s attorney isn’t pleased with leaked images his client.

Bradford Cohen, criminal defense attorney for Kodak Black has spoken out for the first time since the South Florida native was arrested while en route to perform at Rolling loud Miami.

Cohen believes that the force is responsible for the viral new image Kodak bring held in custody while smiling, forgoing the typical mugshot that trails behind the news an arrest.

“I think the actions the police] in taking a photo him in the police station in handcuffs and selling it or giving it to WSVN is a disgusting display unpressionalism,” Cohen told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel on Sunday (May 12th).

The photo was uploaded b WSVN’s Brian Entin, who first confirmed the arrest Kodak Black Saturday evening. While it is not entirely clear who took the photo, the picture does show a handcuffed Kodak as he smiles for the camera following an arrest on firearms charges–the result an operation lead by the federal Bureau Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives

Contrary to initial reports Kodal Black was arrested while at Rolling Loud, but instead, the festival confirms that the rapper was en route to his set. Festival organizers went on to add that they had no knowledge or connection to the South Florida rapper’s arrest.
