Within the dispute, Hello-Tech instructed the 2008 NBA MVP’s attorneys about plans to depose him. The Los Angeles Lakers legend’s workforce responded by fering to offer written solutions from Bryant, saying any video deposition would play out identical to Lil Wayne’s now notorious testimony.

“Deposing Kobe Bryant can be like Lil Wayne’s deposition … it will be identical to that – he’d simply be saying ‘I don’t know, I don’t know, I don’t know,’” Bryant’s lawyer instructed Hello-Tech, based on The Blast.

For these unfamiliar, the Weezy reference refers to a video from his lawsuit towards Quincy Jones III over the 2009 documentary Tha Carter.

In 2012, Jones’ lawyer questioned the Younger Cash boss as half a deposition within the case and obtained stonewalled when Lil Wayne repeatedly answered with “I don’t recall.” Footage Weezy’s testimony leaked courtesy TMZ.
