Congratulations are in order for Keyshia Cole.
The R&B songstress, 37, is expecting a baby with boyfriend Niko Khale, 23. She took to Instagram to announce her pregnancy on Friday (May 3), posting a photo herself on Catalina island holding her baby bump.
“Went to Catalina island Last weekend. Had such a good time!!!! Surrounded by Loooooooooove❤️ Just enjoying good times and GREAT VIBES,” wrote Keyshia.
The former “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” star also included photos her and Niko in the slideshow, adding, “I have a few shows coming up next weekend, DETROIT, MIAMI, #MOTHERSDay is coming I’m ready for ALL THE Love and GREAT ENERGY.”
This will be Cole’s second child. The “Let It Go” singer already has a son, 9-year-old Daniel Gibson Jr., who she shares with her ex-husband Daniel “Boobie” Gibson. The couple wed in 2011 before splitting in 2014.
While Keyshia didn’t reveal the baby’s gender, her son Daniel shared his excitement over his brother’s arrival. “I’m SOOOOO EXCITED to] HAVE my baby brother on the way mommy ❤️!!! Yaaaaay!!!!!!” he wrote on his mother’s Instagram post.
Niko, who started dating Keyshia in 2018, gushed over the mother his child. “Such a strong, beautiful, independent woman. Every day you inspire me,” he wrote on Instagram. “Blessed to have you as a partner in life as well as the mother my child. God is great.”
Keyshia responded, writing, “So happy I found someone who LOVES LIKE ME, 2 peas in a pod.”
The couple received well wishes from friends including La La Anthony and Tameka “Tiny” Harris. “I fukn knew it!! Congratulations sis! So happy for u,” wrote T.I.’s wife.
