K-Pop Stans & TikTok Users Sabotage Attendance At Trump Rally: Report

TikTok users and K-Pop fans appear to be the cause for low turnout for Donald Trump’s latest rally.

President Donald Trump was met with a much lower turnout than expected for his first campaign rally in months, Saturday, in Oklahoma. While Trump claimed he received million reservations, fans came only in the thousands, a let down for the President that may be the result passionate K-Pop and TikTok users.

TikTok users like Mary Jo Laupp encouraged their followers to reserve seating for the event to block Trump’s actual supporters from getting tickets. “All those us that want to see this 19,000 seat auditorium barely filled or completely empty, go reserve tickets now and leave him standing alone there on the stage,” she said.

Forbes claims only 6,200 people attended the rally.

“Radical protestors, fueled by a week apocalyptic media coverage, interfered with @realDonaldTrump supporters at the rally,” Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale wrote on Twitter.

Congresswoman Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez responded to Parscale: “Actually, you just got ROCKED by teens on TikTok who flooded the Trump campaign w/ fake ticket reservations & tricked you into believing a million people wanted your white supremacist open mic enough to pack an arena during COVID. Shout out to Zoomers. Y’all make me so proud. KPop allies, we see and appreciate your contributions in the fight for justice too.”

“K-pop Twitter and Alt-TikTok have a good alliance where they spread information amongst each other very quickly,” protester Elijah Daniel told The New York Times. “They all know the algorithms and how they can boost videos to get where they want.”
