Joyner Lucas Announces "ISIS" Single With Mystery Feature

Joyner Lucas plays it cryptic where his next move is concerned.

As now, details surrounding Joyner Lucas‘ upcoming ADHD album remain relatively scarce. Still, all signs point to an imminent rollout, given that the rapper has recently dropped f a new single in “Devil’s Work.” It would appear he’s looking to continue the momentum, lining up another new release called “ISIS,” along with what looks to be a still from a video. To make matters more intriguing, Joyner has opted to keep the featured guest a mystery, prompting speculation that Eminem‘s long-awaited collaboration may finally see the light day.

A while back, Joyner teased a collaboration with Slim, dubbing it a storytelling clinic evocative “Stan.” Given Lucas’ penchant for penning elaborate conceptual and character driven music, “ISIS” immediately conjures plenty possible thematic avenues. Should Em indeed be the guest, perhaps they’ll be rapping from the perspective an ISIS member and an American soldier, exploring topics previously touched on “I’m Not Racist” or Em’s “Mosh,” to play the throwback card.

Of course, it’s entirely possible that Em is nowhere near this one, and the mystery feature is somebody else altogether. Either way, it’s likely someone interesting enough to shroud in secrecy, which suggests the potential for another big look for the politically-inclined lyricist. We won’t have to wait much longer to find out, as the song drops tomorrow at 1PM Eastern Time sharp.
