John Boyega Told To "Try Love" By Fan After Saying He "F*cking [Hates] Racists"


John Boyega went on Instagram Live to share his anger towards racists, and while he received overwhelming support, there were a few people who told him that “hate” wasn’t the right emotion to have.

As protests roll on in Minneapolis and Los Angeles, actor John Boyega is using his platform to call out racism. The United States is an uproar after four police ficers were fired following their involvement with the death George Floyd. Star Wars actor John Boyega went on Instagram Live on Wednesday (May 27) to talk about just how much he hates racists, and while it’s an understandable sentiment, Boyega was met with pushback from a few his fans.

“This just burns. Seems to be a never ending cycle,” John Boyega also tweeted. The murderers need to be charged severely. Even in the face death this man was given zero empathy.” A person responded, “Hate is everywhere and hating someone only makes it worse try love.” Another said,  “Hate is] a strong word, we can’t conquer hatred with hatred. We rather say we hate their attitude.” Boyega was unrelenting. “I said what I said. Speak for yourself at all times x.”
