Jeremy Lamb On Hitting Half-Court Three To Topple Raptors: "It Was Unreal"

Lamb’s buzzer-beater gave the Hornets a huge win.

Jeremy Lamb had the entire internet buzzing last night when he made an impossible buzzer-beater from behind half-court last night. His Charlotte Hornets were playing the Toronto Raptors and with just a few seconds left, they were down 114-112. Lamb received the inbound pass and threw it up in desperation. Surprisingly, the ball went in which gave the Hornets the 115-114 win, stunning the hometown Raptors crowd at Scotiabank Arena. After the game, Lamb spoke to reporters about how he never actually believed he’d be able to make the shot.

“When I first shot it, it felt good, but in my head, I was thinking, ‘It’s too good to be true if it goes in’,” Lamb said according to Sporting News. “I never in a million years thought it would go in. I thought it would get close but to see it go in, it was unreal.”
