Los Angeles, CA – Roc Nation artist Jay Park teamed up with producer wunderkind Hit-Boy for his latest slap dubbed “K-Town.”
The Ask About Me rapper first released the track on May 17 and returns with the full video treatment for the banger, complete with an armored truck full cash, a Karaoke party and the full backing a cameo from Hit-Boy. According to the director Jack Begert, they had a dope time shooting the video throughout the entire neighborhood Koreatown.
“Got to shut down one my favorite neighborhoods in LA for Jay Park K-TOWN music video w/ Hit-Boy,” Jack wrote on Instagram.
“Shout out to my dude Jay for hanging out the back the armored truck Joker-style.”
The release “K-Town” arrives just weeks after Jay Park dropped two bombs on his fans when he shared that he was receiving the “Game Changer” Award from Smithsonian APAC, in tandem with the news that he planned to retire in a few years.
“I’m gonna retire in a couple years,” he wrote in tweet. “This is a promise to you guys and myself. Not a lot space for guys like me left in this game.”
