Twitter – Celebrated comic Chris Rock was Twitter’s primary trending subject on Saturday evening (December 22) after a 2011 clip HBO’s Speaking Humorous resurfaced. Within the video, Rock is joined by fellow comics Ricky Gervais, Louis C.Ok. and Jerry Seinfeld who’re discussing the “N-word.”
As Gervais and C.Ok. are casually throwing across the racial slur, Rock joins in and laughs together with them.
Rock tells Seinfeld and Gervais how C.Ok. is “the blackest white man” he is aware of. C.Ok. responds by asking Rock, “You’re saying I’m a n****r?”
“Sure,” Rock replies. “You’re the n****r-est white man I’ve ever met].”
Gervais is clearly entertained by the entire change however Seinfeld is visibly uncomfortable. Actually, Seinfeld is the one one who speaks up.
“You’ve discovered the humor it,” he says. “I haven’t — nor do I search it.”
Twitter lit up with reactions to the controversial video. Even Likelihood The Rapper chimed in and commented, “I bear in mind discovering out Louis CK wrote and directed pootie tang,” which clearly didn’t sit proper with him.
Now, Twitter is asking to commerce Rock for Seinfeld.
