Gregory Tyree Boyce was known for his appearances in the “Twilight” films, but tragedy struck two families as the actor and his girlfriend were found dead at their home in Las Vegas.
Hollywood is mourning the loss yet another figure today after news circulated that Twilight actor Gregory Tyree Boyce was found dead on May 13. According to reports, the 30-year-old entertainer wasn’t the only casualty as his girlfriend, 27-year-old Natalie Adepoju, was also found deceased at the scene. E! News reports that the couple was found by Boyce’s cousin who went to check on the actor at his Las Vegas condo after seeing Boyce’s car in the driveway when he was supposed to have left for Los Angeles.
Gregory Tyree Boyce may not be a household name, but to fans the Twilight saga, he was known as the character Tyler Crowley. Boyce’s mother, Lisa Wayne, shared a tribute to her son on Facebook. “I’m sick without you. I’m torn, I’m lost. I’m in pain. I’d text you or call you when I was broken or worried about something, and you’d tell me, Ma, I got you, we’ll get thru this together. Boy. Why did you leave me. We lived in the same complex and you were my dinner. You’d cook, I’d come eat and chill and walk back home. During quarantine, we started walking in the evenings. Me, you, Natalie, Alaya and Kaniya found a beautiful trail to walk on, we loved it out there. I wanted to lose weight so bad, but you just kept cooking and I cannot resist your food. Since you’ve left me baby, I’ve lost 7 lbs.”
His family released an ficial statement to TMZ that reads:
“We as family Gregory Boyce are very saddened by our loss. He was a dad, son, grandson, brother, uncle, and friend. He was the light all our lives and we are very saddened by his death. The Gregory we knew was intimate with the world and a good person. He was a very respectful and responsible man. He always put others first. The family would like to ask for our privacy as we mourn our losses and thank you for your well wishes.”
Boyce and his girlfriend Natalie had reportedly been together for just over a year, and her family wrote a tribute to her on their GoFundMe page. “Natalie had so much life to live and] we are saddened that her life was cut short. Natalie leaves behind her one and only baby boy Egypt, her father, two brothers and one sister, and a host family and friends who love her dearly.” Boyce leaves behind a 10-year-old daughter. Their causes death are still pending. We send our condolences.
