J Alexander Kueng has been released on $750K bail on Friday night.
A second ficer involved in George Floyd’s murder was released from jail last night, New York Post reports. J Alexander Keung posted $750K for his bail on Friday night and was subsequently released from Hennepin County Jail just after 7:30 p.m. Keung was one three former police ficers who were charged with aiding and abetting second-degree manslaughter and aiding and abetting second-degree murder for George Floyd.

Keung is the second cop who has posted bail in the case. Thomas Lane posted $750K bail after raising enough money through crowdfunding. Like Lane, Keung was also a rookie on the job and working his fourth shift. Lane was working his third on the day that George Floyd was murdered which his attorney believes will help prove his client’s innocence in court.
The other two former cops involved in the case, Derek Chauvin and Tou Thao, are still behind bars. Chauvin is currently looking at $1.25M bail without conditions, though it could be lowered to $1M. The conditions for Chauvin would include that he stay in Minnesota, hand over all firearms and permits, not have any contact with George Floyd’s family and not work in security or law enforcement.
All four defendants are facing up to 40 years in prison if convicted their charges.
