While the companion album is riddled with a strong hip-hop presence, the two songs in questions are not included under that particular umbrella. Though should you count yourself among the more open-minded, perhaps you’ll find something to enjoy here. “Kingdom One” by Maren Morris and “Nightshade” by the Lumineers have ficially be unveiled, and you can check out both singles below. For the most part, the songs appear to be tenuously linked to Thrones on a thematic level, with “Nightshade” in particular featuring several allusions to political machinations and royalty. Perhaps we’ll see some the rappers involved taking a more direct approach in honoring the source material.

Game Of Thrones season 8 premieres this Sunday on HBO, and For The Throne is set to drop on April 26th.
