The circumstances around her death were ominous, as it was reported that Josie Harris was found by one her children sitting in her car in her driveway. According to the outlet, the Los Angeles Medical Examiner-Coroner stated that an autopsy found that Josie Harris died “MIXED DRUG TOXICITY (FENTANYL, ALPRAZOLAM).” The mother three’s death has been reportedly ruled as accidental as there were no signs that she intended to take her own life. Alprazolam is an anti-anxiety medication that is also known as Xanax.
Following her death, Floyd Mayweather took to his social media pages to pay tribute to his ex. He shared a series heart-warming photos from their past together, calling Josie Harris his “baby” and “sunshine.” His social media dedication to Josie was criticized due to the reports that she and Floyd were headed to court later this year. Josie Harris reportedly filed a $20 million lawsuit against Floyd because she claimed that he lied about her during an interview with Katie Couric years ago.
