Exclusive Interview: GregR&B

We have a chance to talk with GregR&B who just dropped his music video for the smooth and sensual single ‘Cuddle Moves’ from his debut album titled Love Again.

Have you encountered difficulties as an emerging artist entering the music industry? If yes, could you share with us some of the challenges you faced?

Yes and No, yes because the music industry has changed and continues to evolve so fast that it can be a challenge keeping up with the new industry and its players. It is more common to run into the wrong people in this business before you make it to the right connections.

Are you more of a studio artist, a live performer, or both?

I enjoy both very much but it is so much more of an adventure to be there with fans who enjoy my craft.

What is the main message or vibe you’d like to convey through your latest release, “Cuddle Moves”? And why did you choose this song as the lead single from your latest album?

My goal is to bring back romance music, the kind of music that makes one person feel great about the other creating positive engagement between lovers and that is why I chose cuddle moves.

Do you have a mentor? If yes, who?

No, but I have researched many of the successful music industry moguls and have always looked up to P.Diddy, Jay Z, and some of the other great businessmen in the music industry.

When some artists struggle to stick to one genre, you have made it your specialty to consistently create within R&B, what made you choose this path?

In this time in music, I feel that our music industry has fallen off balance and there isn’t enough love and romance, therefore, I feel it’s necessary to root myself where I feel there is a gap that needs to be filled and that is primarily in the R&B genre..

How did Covid-19 affect your plans?

Covid-19 put me in a great position to really sit down and get an understanding of streaming, hopefully it’s over with very soon lol.

What accomplishment do you see yourself achieve in the next 5 years?

At least 3 platinum-plus albums, 3 Grammys, and an Oscar if they give them to the musical artists, lol!

Besides music, what are some of your favorite occupations or hobbies?

I own a trucking company and looking forward to opening up more businesses.

Musically speaking, what is your biggest strength?

I write songs pretty fast.

Please tell us more about your upcoming plans for this year?

I’m looking forward to traveling due to the fact that covid-19 is about to be ending. I will be doing shows, selling merch and continuing to push Love Again to the top of the charts.
