ESPN writer Nick DePaula is giving Adidas fans a reason to get extra excited right about now. The journalist has provided more confirmation about rap star Drake having intense talks with the sports apparel giant about a partnership.
DePaula took to Twitter this week and admitted Drake/Adidas had really moved along in potential negotiations.
Yesterday, speculation started to mount about Drake possibly leaving his Jordan Brand deal to join Adidas.
With high-prile entertainers like Houston Rockets’ James Harden and Kanye West already with adidas, the sports apparel giant could grow that much stronger with Drizzy’s help.
Back in December 2013, Drake announced his Jordan Brand partnership during a live Portland concert.
