HipHopDX Premiere – Thirty years in the past, Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Corridor electrified film screens with the cult basic comedy, Coming To America. Now, Zeana x Jason Maek have animated snippets the movie for his or her new “Get To Work” video.
The monitor marks the primary music the duo has launched in over two years. Directed by Jason Maek, the visible finds Maek enjoying the position Prince Akeem and Zaena taking over a number of Murphy’s famed characters, together with Sexual Chocolate.
“I liked remaking Coming To America for this music as a result of, sonically, ‘Get To Work’ is basic and uncooked,” Zaena instructed HipHopDX. “Recreating this was superior and I acquired to be three dudes. Can’t prime that.”
“Both we have been going to nail this or it was going to be a catastrophe,” Maek provides. “There was no center floor. I believe we did a very good job in paying homage whereas giving folks a bit of nostalgia.”
The duo plans to launch their second full-length collaborative album, Freshman, in two separate volumes. Freshman: Quantity I is predicted to reach quickly.
