Papoose is again with the third and final single from his upcoming Underrated album. Titled “Valuable Jewel,” the monitor options Musiq SoulChild and manufacturing courtesy Ron Brownz. As prompt by the tune’s title, “Valuable Jewel” is an ode to Pap’s spouse Remy Ma and the magic black love.
“Generally I needed it was me locked up as an alternative her/Swear to god I nearly died the day they sentenced her,” he spits, a reference to Remy’s 2008 assault conviction and subsequent jail sentence.
“Valuable Jewel” follows the 2 beforehand tracks — the DJ Premier-produced “Numerical Slaughter” and “The Golden Youngster” that includes Remy and Angelica Vila.
Underrated is anticipated to reach this Friday (February 15) EMPIRE/Honorable Information. The mission boasts contributions from a laundry checklist notable names, together with Preemo, Statik Selektah, Pete Rock and Casanova.
