Marcel P. Black is ficially dropping his 4Tha CLTR EP on Friday (March 22), however the Baton Rouge-based MC is giving HipHopDX readers the chance to get pleasure from a pre-release stream the challenge.
The five-track EP is Black’s first launch since 2017’s Seven. His new challenge is produced completely by M Slago, who is thought for his collaborations with Homeboy Sandman and Mega Ran.
“This EP is me going again to my ‘backpack rap’ roots,” Black tells DX. “It’s impressed by the final two and a half years touring continuous as an underground/indie touring MC, partaking the tradition headfirst all around the nation. It’s a nod to southern underground Hip Hop teams like CunninLynguists, Unusual Fruit Challenge and Little Brother.”
