Earlier this month, Jose Xavier dropped a new project titled Misery Loves Company. Now, the Baton Rouge-bred MC is continuing to push his latest release by premiering his “Be” video on HipHopDX.
“‘Be’ is sort the climax Misery Loves Company,” Jose tells DX. “It touches on a lot from how I tend to push away the people who care about me the most and the feelings self-doubt that I think we all feel.”
He adds, “Misery Loves Company is a story about the struggles that I’ve faced trying to navigate through adulthood while chasing this music shit. The oxymoron it is how consumers have an infatuation for the self-destruction and pain that artists deal with daily. The blatant calls for help are ten ignored because misery loves company.”
