Drake Drops ‘Behind Barz’ Freestyle

Drake is getting his “Barz” up.

Netflix’s new series Top Boy arrives tonight along with the soundtrack OVO Sound. In addition to Baka Not Nice, Popcaan, and Little Simz, the 13 tracks include Drizzy’s “Behind Barz” freestyle, which he previously dropped in July 2018 for London’s Link Up TV.

“I know so much shit that I cannot expose,” he raps on the nearly three-minute track. “I keep it inside and I laugh on my own / Got all the tea and I’m hottin’ it up.”

He also takes shots at the competition. “You’re droppin’ some shit but that shit was a bust / They got no direction, they followin’ us / I come from a city that they never touch / Your man is a goy and he can get brushed.”

Drake, along with LeBron James’ manager Maverick Carter, serves as the executive producer Top Boy. The Netflix series is based f the critically-acclaimed crime drama that debuted in the U.K. in 2011.

Meanwhile, Drake has been back in the studio working on a new album, which could drop as soon as November.
