Montreal-based artist Charmian Devi is one of the only contemporary singer-songwriters capable of producing a unique sound that drives its roots from the 70’s folk and rock sonorities, and she does it with such grace that audiences will most certainly be moved to the core. Inspired by her father who brought the latest Bob Dyaln and The Beatles’ albums back home, she started music by taking part and leading several bands, and today, she has teamed-up with Tony Garnier, Bob Dylan’s bassist, as well as producer Marc Urselli, to release the wonderful tracks “No Peace” and “Radio of None”.
