Atlanta, GA – Cardi B has revealed her husband Offset is out jail. On Saturday (July 21), the “Bodak Yellow” phenom took to her Instagram stories to post a photo herself and the Migos superstar in the background.
She wrote the word “HOME” across the photo.
Cardi also wanted to clear up some details surrounding her husband’s criminal record. In a separate post, she wrote, “For the record, Offset is NOT ON PROBATION.”
The couple secretly tied the knot last September and welcomed their daughter Kulture earlier this month.
According to TMZ, Offset was released on $17,000 bail following an atypical court appearance. When he was in the Atlanta courtroom on Saturday morning, the lights reportedly went out. Consequently, the hearing had to proceed with flashlights.
Offset, a convicted felon, was arrested on Friday (July 20) while driving in a Porsche 911 outside Atlanta. Police reportedly found three handguns in the car, marijuana and $107,000.
The 26-year-old was charged with two felonies — possession a firearm by a felon and possession a weapon during a crime — as well as two misdemeanors — possession marijuana (one ounce or less) and an improper lane change.
