Former Netflix series “Tuca & Bertie” is moving to Adult Swim.

Following its cancelation on Netflix last summer, creator Lisa Hanawalt has now announced that the show is being resurrected on Adult Swim.
“I’ve been a fan Adult Swim shows since my teens, so I’m thrilled to bring my beloved fowl to the party and be a new voice for a fresh decade absurd, irreverent, yet heartwarming adult animation,” said Hanawalt.
The show’s cast includes the voices Tifanny Haddish, Ali Wong, and Steven Yuen.
Haddish, Wong, Raphael Bob-Waksberg, Noel Bright, and Steven A. Cohen will serve as executive producers.
The show was met with rave reviews from critics after release; however, it was still canceled just two months after release. “Everyone is still glowing over the reviews and articles and feedback. T&B is critically acclaimed and has repeatedly been called one the best new shows the year,” Hanawalt wrote on Twitter after the show’s cancelation. “None this makes a difference to an algorithm, but it’s important to me and the way I want to continue making art in this world.”
10 episodes the series will be made for Adult Swim and are expected to premiere in 2021.
