It’s confirmed: rapper Bobby Shmurda could be getting out prison as early as 2020. TMZ reports that Bobby will have a parole hearing in August 2020, and may be eligible to be paroled by December 2020. Shmurda is currently being held at Clinton Correctional Facility in Upstate New York.
Before being locked up, Bobby Shmurda had a promising future in the rap game. Back in 2014, he released a mixtape, titled Shmoney Shmurda, and an extended play, titled Shmurda She Wrote. His EP debuted at #79 on the Billboard Hot 100, and at #7 on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart. Bobby Shmurda is perhaps best known for two his singles, which were featured on the EP: “Hot N***a” and “Bobby B***h”.
