Warriors fans need to chill.
Ayesha Curry stopped by Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk this past week and already, she has generated a ton controversy for her comments about groupies and the lack male attention she receives. Her words have gotten her in quite a bit trouble on Twitter and now various people are speaking out, including former NBA player Brandon Jennings. While her comments about male attention have been analyzed to death, Curry also spoke about one interesting experience that truly speaks to the fanatical nature Warriors supporters.
As she explains, she and Steph were sitting in their car once while she was breastfeeding. That’s when a whole swarm fans came to the car, with one person barging in to get an autograph.
“This group people come over and they’re trying to ask Stephen for pictures and autographs,” Ayesha explained. “The woman opens the car door, sticks her body in the car and is like, ‘Oh, let me see…’” the baby.”
When Curry refused, the woman struck back, saying “‘Oh, honey, you know what you signed up for.’”
Curry explained that the experience led to some pretty bad anxiety and that she hopes fans won’t do stuff like that in the future.
